Scuba Diving “La Parguera” in Guanica

La Parguera in Guánica is one of the most amazing diving spots in Puerto Rico. Divers from all over the world come to visit this incredible WALL where the continental shelf drops off into the ocean platform from around 60 to 1500 feet .

The Wall at La Parguera, Puerto Rico

Visibility is awesome, and with over 100 feet visibility and huge diversity of Coral and coloured fish this reef is ideal for underwater photography.

La Parguera stretches over for over 20 miles. It is not the only Wall in Puerto Rico, but it is the closest one to shore at the closest point at around 6 to 7 miles from it. Boats can reach it in less than 20 minutes.

You can also find people refering to La Parguera de Guanica as Black Wall, Old Buoy, Efra’s Wall, and Fallen Rock, but this are some of more than 20 well known diving spots in the same area.
